Yoga Therapy is the practice of using Yoga to clear discomfort and pain in the body. We accomplish this through following alignment principles, adopting a positive mindset and being consistent with our practice.
Although Julie cues alignment principles throughout her group classes, one-on-one sessions are highly recommended to achieve the best results for pain management and in order to achieve the best results. The number of sessions needed is highly dependent on the number of misalignments and goals.
A pain management practice is ideal for anyone with chronic muscular pain as well as those pre or post-op for joint replacement surgery. Studies have shown that by properly preparing for surgery and continuing proper physical activity after surgery improves results and accelerates healing.
